SUMMARY:Madisonville\, KY Super Kids Race
DESCRIPTION:The Pennyrile Soapbox Derby Association will host the Madisonville Super Kids Race on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025. This race is for children with special needs ages 7-18. The race will be held on Baldwin Drive in Madisonville at 10:00AM. The entry fee is $10.00 for the Super Kids participant. The soapbox derby cars for the Super Kids Division are special 2-seater cars that are gravity powered. The Super Kids participant is not able to operate the derby car. The drivers for the Super Kids participants are selected by PSDA.  Super Kids families do not have to build or buy a car kit for the race. The participants receive a participation trophy\, race t-shirt\, and race award depending on placement. Our Super Kids families are invited to attend the race banquet on Thursday\, June 5 at the Madisonville City Park Clubhouse from 6:00 to 8:00. The winner of the Super Kids race will have the opportunity to represent Madisonville at the National Super Kids Race in Akron\, Ohio\, July 17-18. DESCRIPTION:Pennyrile Soapbox Derby Association will host the annual Madisonville Local Soapbox Derby Race on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025. The race will be held on Baldwin Drive in Madisonville KY. The Stock Division is for racers ages 7-13 and the Super Stock Division is for racers ages 9-18.  Please contact PSDA at 2708364492 to register for the race. You can also email us at pennyrilesoapbox@gmail.com or through Facebook at PennyrileSoapBoxDerby- Madisonville\, KY if you have questions or would like to register.  Entry fee is $40.00 per racer. Families do not have to build or buy a car kit. Practice runs will be held on Saturday\, May 17 and 31 – times to be determined. Car clinic dates are to be determined in the spring. The soapbox derby banquet will be held on Thursday\, June 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

DESCRIPTION:PSDA Fall Pumpkin Roll Rally Race is scheduled for October 12 and 13\, 2024. Please contact Lisa Ramey for questions or to preregister at lisaramey@kyn.twcbc.com. Entry Fee is $100.00 for the weekend. Half price for 1st sibling\, second sibling free for weekend. \nThis is the first weekend to qualify for the Bluegrass Bash race. The Bluegrass Bash is a contest within a race on Kentucky tracks only for recognition of any racers competing in the three weekends at the Madisonville\, Bowling Green\, and Owensboro tracks during October and November. All racers are eligible to participate in the Bluegrass Bash. The “bash” is an accumulation of points from the best 8 finishes. Racers must compete in at least one double and one single in Madisonville\, Owensboro\, and Bowling Green. Awards will be given for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd overall placing finishers in each division and based on the point system. There is no entry fee or registration form required to participate.
