SUMMARY:Madisonville\, KY Super Kids Race
DESCRIPTION:The Pennyrile Soapbox Derby Association will host the Madisonville Super Kids Race on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025. This race is for children with special needs ages 7-18. The race will be held on Baldwin Drive in Madisonville at 10:00AM. The entry fee is $10.00 for the Super Kids participant. The soapbox derby cars for the Super Kids Division are special 2-seater cars that are gravity powered. The Super Kids participant is not able to operate the derby car. The drivers for the Super Kids participants are selected by PSDA.  Super Kids families do not have to build or buy a car kit for the race. The participants receive a participation trophy\, race t-shirt\, and race award depending on placement. Our Super Kids families are invited to attend the race banquet on Thursday\, June 5 at the Madisonville City Park Clubhouse from 6:00 to 8:00. The winner of the Super Kids race will have the opportunity to represent Madisonville at the National Super Kids Race in Akron\, Ohio\, July 17-18.
